Indy's Other Partners in Love and Adventure
When Karen Allen joined Indiana Jones in his search for the lost ark in 1981, she hardly shivered, even when snakes slithered all around. Since her stoic - some said stilted - performance, the actress has appeared as Joanne Woodward's daughter in 1987's The Glass Menagerie, a movie directed by Paul Newman, and with Bill Murray last winter in Scrooged. She just filmed Confidence [released as Sweet Talker] in Australia with Bryan Brown.
Kate Capshaw shrieked throughout the 1984 Indiana Jones sequel, Temple of Doom - bugs just weren't her thing - but the actress, rumored to be dating director Steven Spielberg, hasn't made such memorable noises since. Appearances include TV's Her Secret Life and Internal Affairs with Richard Crenna; on screen there were the unmemorable flicks SpaceCamp and Power. We'll see her next with Michael Douglas in the action-adventure film Black Rain, due out in September.

CUTLINE: CAPSHAW: The Temple of Doom co-star will be seen in Black Rain in September. CUTLINE: ALLEN: The spunky co-star in Raiders has just finished a new movie, Confidence.
