John Belushi died from a drug overdose at age 33 on March 5, 1982. His other
films include Goin' South, 1941, Blues Brothers, Continental Divide and
Neighbors. He was also a regular during the early days of Saturday Night Live.
- Chip Diller - has become a preacher after seeing Jesus in his beef
and broccoli dinner at a Chinese restaurant.
Kevin Bacon continues to act and be within six degrees of everyone on earth.
His best known works since Animal House are Diner, Footloose, Tremors,
A Few Good Men and Apollo 13. Kevin also devotes significant time
promoting his band, the Bacon Brothers.
Lawrence Kroger '66 - Editor, National Lampoon Magazine
Tom Hulce made a name for himself with Amadeus (1984), four years
after Animal House. He has also appeared in Fearless (1993),
Parenthood (1989) and in Disney's animated The Hunchback of Notre
Dame (1996) as the voice of Quasimodo. He also appeared in three episodes
of St. Elsewhere during its first season. Today he will usually be
found producing and directing for the stage in Seattle, where he now lives.

Donald Sutherland has a long line of great films, including M*A*S*H, Little
Murders, Ordinary People, Kelly's Heroes, The Dirty Dozen, Klute, Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
and The Eye of the Needle. TV guest appearances include "The Avengers" and "The
Simpsons."
Eric Stratton '63 - Gynecologist to the stars, Beverly Hills, CA
Tim Matheson continues to act regularly, with more than 50 film and TV credits
since Animal House. he's an Emmy nominee for his role as the vice president in
"The West Wing." He played the father of a college cutup in "Van Wilder," and starred
in and directed Showtime's "In the Company of Spies." At 16 he created the voice of Jonny Quest for the
Saturday morning cartoon series. He had more than 20 film and television credits
before making Animal House, including Divorce American Style; Yours,
Mine and Ours; Magnum Force and "Bonanza." His best known films since Animal
House include 1941, Fletch, A Very Brady Sequel, and She's All That.
Donald Schoenstein (and Katy) - A documentarian who has (repeatedly) married and
divorced his college sweetheart Katy.
Peter Riegert continues to act. He appeared regularly on the "Sopranos" as an assembly
man, and now appears on "Law & Order: SVU." His most recent films are Traffic with Michael Douglas and How to Kill Your
Neighbor's Dog with Kenneth Branagh. His best known work since Animal House
are Local Hero, Crossing Delancy and The Mask. He also appeared in
episodes of "M*A*S*H" and the final episode of "Seinfeld" as Kimbrough.
Robert Hoover '63 - Public defender, Baltimore, MD
James Widdoes has directed and/or produced many episodes for various TV series. Some
of these include "Two-and-a-Half Men," "Just The Ten of Us," "Empty Nest," "Anything But Love," "Harry and the
Hendersons," "Boston Common," "Brother's Keeper," "Reba," "8 Simple Rules" and "The King of Queens."
He is married to Brooks Hendrie, and has two sons, Charles Landauer and Sumner Dickinson.
Daniel Simpson Day '63 - On the run from Interpol for various unspecified offenses
Bruce McGill, a native of San Antonio, Texas, and a graduate of the University of Texas,
continues to stay very busy as an actor. His long list of character roles
includes work in Ali, Legally Blonde 2 and as Ernest Hemingway in Waiting for
the Moon. He played Yankee manager
Ralph Houk in Billy Crystal's 61* for HBO. Other notable films include The
Legend of Baggar Vance, The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez, Silkwood, My Cousin Vinny, Cliffhanger,
Courage Under Fire, Runaway Jury, and Cinderella Man.
He had a recurring role as Jack Dalton on "McGuyver" and has guested on "Gideon's Crossing,"
"Miami Vice," "Home Improvement," "Walker, Texas Ranger," "Star Trek: Voyager,"
and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," among others.
Kent Dorfman '66 - Sensitivity trainer, Cleveland, OH; says he lost weight
by injecting himself with the urine of pregnant women
Stephen Furst, now known for his work in television's "St. Elsewhere" and
"Babylon 5", inked a multipicture directing deal with Harvey Entertainment and
Matty Simmons. He provides the voice of one of the Space Rangers in Disney's new
animated television series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
Notworthy films include National Lampoon's Class Reunion and The Dream
Team. He's guested in many TV series, such as "McGuyver" and "Dream On."
(Donald Schoenstein and) Katy - Married her college sweetheart "Boon"
Schoenstein. Then divorced him. Then remarried him. Then divorced him. Remarried, etc.
Karen Allen has reprised her role as Marion Ravenwood in the new blockbuster film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Karen has also returned to her first love textile arts! by opening
Karen Allen—Fiber Arts.
She also teaches acting at a college in the Berkshires area. Film highlights since
Animal House include The Wanderers, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Starman,

Mark Metcalf recently sold his share of the restaurant "Libby Montana" in Mequon, Wisconsin, but
continues to keep busy as an actor. He appeared in The Warden of Red
Rock with James Caan, David Carridine and Brian Dennehey on the USA Network.
Other notable films include Head Over Heals and A Reason to Believe.
He had a recurring role as Maestro on "Seinfeld" and has guested on "Ally McBeal,"
"JAG," "Party of Five," and "Star Trek: Voyager" among others.
- Harold Ramis has become a very successful writer, director and producer.
His Ocean Pictures production company is in the third year
of a three-year first-look writing, producing and directing deal with 20th
Century Fox. The pact moved Ramis' company from his previous first-look deal
at Columbia Pictures, where he had been housed for five years. Ramis
will continue to be based out of his Chicago office. His long string of
successful films include Caddyshack, Stripes, Ghostbusters, Baby Boom,
Groundhog Day, Multiplicity, and Analyze This and That.
- Chris Miller has a new book out. Wild and hilarious,
THE REAL ANIMAL HOUSE is a must-read for any fan of the film and anyone who
remembers their college days as a blur of great parties and solid friendships.
- Dean Wormer - became a voice of choice for video games including
"Command & Conquer" and "Earth & Beyond." John Vernon died February 1, 2005 at
age 72.
- Barbara "Babs" Jensen - a tour guide at Universal Studios in Hollywood
Martha Smith, a former Playboy Playmate,
went on to co-star as Francine Desmond in the TV series “Scarecrow and Mrs. King.”
Mandy Pepperidge
Mary Louise Weller retired from acting in the 1980s and now raises horses. She trained with the
U.S. Equestrian Team as a teenager and has ridden competitively. She is now married
and travels the horse show circuit in an RV with her new hubby.
Clorette DePasto
Sarah Holcomb reportedly gave up a future in film for alcohol and drug addiction.
Her four-year film career ended with Caddyshack in 1980. Rumors to the contrary,
she is not dead. In fact, I am told she is now "living a quiet, obscure life in
Connecticut under a different name" and does not wish to be found. The 2004 film Stateside,
directed by Reverge Anselmo, is supposedly based on her years of fighting mental illness.
